The Cedar's Inn
The Cedar's Inn & Restaurant, built in 1768 can accommodate space for 6 rooms in the building adjacent to this photo. The restaurant is pictured here and serves up some of the best food in the area from beginning to end. Their menu features delicious wines, locally sourced seafood and seasonal vegetables. One thing to note about the Cedar's Inn is that it is not the most kid friendly restaurant. Be sure to bring snacks for a little one if they're joining for dinner. They do not have a kid's menu. The space as one can expect is broken up into the individual rooms in the house, so the noise level in the restaurant is quite nice!
Isn't the house stunning?
As mentioned above, there is no kids menu, but their food is phenomenal. It was a bit over-salted, but still extremely tasty. The tuna was cooked to perfection, as was the duck and the scallops and shrimp dish paired perfectly with the succotash. Be sure to check out their seasonal specials. Their watermelon and arugula salad special was dynamite!
